Some of you might be able to support Mercy Ethiopia financially.  We are a small charity run solely by volunteers, so 100% of the money donated to Mercy Ethiopia currently goes to operations in Ethiopia – your money does not pay wages or finance mission trips! In Ethiopia, the only paid staff of the Mercy Home is the guard and the cook who each receive just $15 USD per month.  The street children of Addis are the true beneficiaries of your financial support.  Mercy Home supplies food, shelter, clothing, school tuition, physical and psychological health care, spiritual nurturing and much more for these children.  We plan to raise money in a number of creative ways in the near future with the proceeds going towards expanding the services and facilities of Mercy Home.  You might consider making Mercy Ethiopia part of your monthly alms giving by way of a regular monthly gift or a child sponsorship to best assist us in building consistent and sustained support for Mercy Home.
